Loam is a personal wellness app for iPhone. We designed Loam so your wellness data stays on your device. Loam does not require an account, and we do not sell your personal information.

This Privacy Policy explains what information Loam handles, how it is stored, and the choices you have.

1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy applies to the Loam mobile application (“Loam,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) published on the Apple App Store.

2. Information we handle

2.1 Information you create in the app (stored on your device)

Most information you enter in Loam is stored locally on your iPhone using Apple’s on-device storage (including SwiftData and app preferences). This may include:

• Mood logs and related wellness entries
• Habits, routines, and streaks
• Journal entries
• Vision board items (goals, affirmations, progress, reminders)
• Focus session history and preferences
• Display name and profile photo (if you choose to add one)
• Theme, appearance, and app settings

We do not operate our own servers to store this information. We do not receive this data unless you voluntarily send it to us (for example, by email when requesting support).

2.2 Profile photo (optional)

If you add a profile photo, Loam accesses your photo library only when you select an image. The photo is saved locally on your device for display in the app. We do not upload profile photos to our servers.
